I'm a big fan of Noam Chomsky (born 1928). Last night, I watched his
most recent (2013) documentary titled Requiem for the American Dream
which inspired this painting. A profound American thinker who always
makes me think. I tried to find a most recent image of him on the
internet to reference for this work to honor his continued profound
relevance in modern day social discussions.
"If we don't believe in freedom of expression for people we despise, we don't believe in it at all."
